Abstract
Memory Cycle Accountings for Hardware-Assisted Real-Time Garbage Collection
Kelvin Nilsen
Hardware-assisted garbage collection makes use of dedicated circuits
located within a special expansion memory module to enhance the
response time and throughput of garbage collection operations.
This paper provides detailed descriptions of the memory cycles
required to implement each of the primitive garbage collection
operations provided by the hardware-assisted garbage collection
module.
